The great thing about life is you get to reinvent yourself. Like a good book, life has chapters. There are commonalities that weave throughout but you get to choose your path and the course your life takes. And you don't need to know how it will end up.

You see, life is about the journey, not the destination. Or at least it should be.

My life has been like that. I have been a daughter, a sister, a wife, a mother and , now, a grandmother. I have lived and worked in four Canadian provinces from a farm in a small Prairie town to an office tower in a city of 4 Million.  I have travelled to four continents (with #5 coming up soon.)

All of these things have shaped my foundations, my values, my perspective and have opened my eyes to new places, experiences, cultures and people.

They have given me the courage and the opportunity to joyfully embrace the next chapter, post-retirement, of my life. I am eternally grateful to be able to travel, to explore, to experience and to share my discoveries with my readers as a freelance photographer and travel writer.
