Thousands of lanterns rise into the night sky over Chiang Mai at the YeePeng Lantern Festival.
My journey in Thailand began with the temples and markets of busy, urban Bangkok and continued on to Chiang Mai in Northern Thailand where we wandered through temples, rode elephants in the jungle and joined in the annual YeePeng Lantern Festival.
